Can peripheral nerves heal?
Yes! It is well established in the scientific literature that peripheral nerves can and do heal. When the underlying cause of the Neuropathy is discovered (when possible), and proper support for the nerves are provided, it optimizes the ability for the nerves to heal!

Common Questions Cont'd

How Does Treatment Work?

The treatment we provide has five main goals…

  1. Optimize the environment within the body for healing.
  2. Increase blood flow.
  3. Stimulate damaged nerves (small fiber, large diameter, or motor nerves) to reduce pain and improve balance.
  4. Decrease brain-based pain.
  5. Correct Mechanical issues that prevent proper healing.

How much treatment will the nerves require to heal?

-This will be dependent on the degree of nerve damage and what types of fibers are damaged.
